Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture, formerly iAuditor) vs Fulcrum
The naming first, because it is the reason most people land here: iAuditor became SafetyCulture on 21 November 2022, and SafetyCulture became Mitti on 11 August 2026. One product, three names in four years. If you are comparing iAuditor to Fulcrum, this is that comparison.

The short answer
Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture, formerly iAuditor)
Choose Mitti if you want ten free seats indefinitely and broad coverage across inspections, training, assets and actions. Nothing else in this category competes with free at that headcount.
Fulcrum
Choose Fulcrum if location is part of the record. It is built around geospatial data capture, which is an architectural difference rather than a feature, and it matters for environmental, utility and survey work.
Fulcrum's five-seat minimum puts it around $2,580 a year before anyone opens it. If you are one person, that decides it regardless of everything else.
Who actually switched, and why
All three inbound records come from enterprise EHS platforms rather than from Fulcrum. We found no migration between Mitti and Fulcrum in either direction — this is a shortlist comparison, not a switching path. Note also that all three reviews carry the same date, which suggests a review-solicitation campaign rather than three independent moments.

Where they genuinely differ
Price and minimums, which decide most of this
Mitti's free tier is ten seats, indefinitely, not a trial. Premium is $24 per seat per month billed annually.
Fulcrum carries a five-seat minimum. At its published per-seat rate that is roughly $2,580 a year whether five people use it or one.
For an individual or a pair, that gap is not a preference, it is a gate.
Offline
Mitti's offline coverage is broad: inspections, actions, assets and reports work without a connection. Analytics, the template editor and the public template library do not.
Fulcrum is built for disconnected field capture, which follows from its geospatial focus.
What the rename did and did not change
The vendor's changelog states there was no change to logins, data, integrations, settings, permissions or contracts on launch day. That is the company's claim and we have seen nothing contradicting it.
What did not fully change is the plumbing. The Android package identifier still reads com.safetyculture.iauditor, two live help centres exist in parallel, and the template library does not redirect. If you have an existing integration, confirm your endpoints rather than assuming.
What each is honestly better at
Mitti
Free seats and breadth. Ten working seats indefinitely is an offer nothing else here matches, and its offline coverage spans training, assets and scheduling rather than stopping at the form. For a team of ten needing a broad EHS platform, it is genuinely hard to beat.
Fulcrum
Anything where the location of a record is part of the record. Its geospatial foundation is real engineering rather than a map view bolted on, and for field survey work that is the reason to pay the minimum.
What we could not verify
- Whether Mitti's legal entity was renamed. The App Store seller of record still reads SafetyCulture Pty Ltd, so the safe description is that Mitti appears to be a trading name.
- Mitti's API endpoints after the rename. For an integrator this is the most important unanswered technical question and we could not establish it.
- Fulcrum's full pricing tiers beyond the seat minimum.
- Whether the three April 2026 reviews above represent three independent decisions. Their shared date suggests a solicitation campaign, which does not make them false but does mean they are not three separate signals.
- Reddit was unreachable in every research session.
If neither fits — a third shape of tool
Both of these are team products with seat economics to match. If you are one person who needs a form filled and a document produced on site, the minimums above are the entire answer — ReportWalk starts free with no seat minimum, and does far less than either as a result.
