Velappity alternatives
for care-home and property audits
Velappity is a small Glasgow company doing something specific and doing it sensibly: care-home audits, property inspections and field service, with UK regulatory framing built in rather than bolted on. The only real difficulty in evaluating it is that nobody has publicly written about using it.
Why people are looking
No public reviews anywhere
Zero on Capterra, and nothing we could find elsewhere. The vendor is plainly active — blog posts dated 25 and 26 August 2026, a current footer — but the entire description of the product available to you is its own.
For a £15-a-user product that is not alarming. It does mean a trial is not optional: you have no one else's experience to lean on.
The free tier is two users
Free up to two users, then Bronze at £15 per user per month billed annually, Silver at £30 and Gold at £50.
The ladder is steep for what is on it. If you grow past two people, work out which tier you actually land on before you commit — the difference between Bronze and Gold is more than three times.
Its own SERP is the only thing about it
Searching for Velappity returns the vendor's own pages and very little else. There is nothing to displace and nothing to compare against.
Again — a practical fact about researching it, not a judgement on the software.
The other side of it
What Velappity does well
Offline is genuine and stated in the language of the job: “Lack of signal isn't an issue at remote inspection locations. Jobs can be completed offline then sync the data once back online.”
The ACOP L8 framing matters. Legionella risk assessment is a mandatory recurring UK walk with temperature readings at sentinel outlets, and a product that already knows that is ahead of a generic checklist app — including ours.
For a UK care-home operator or a small property firm, this is aimed squarely at your regulatory reality.
What the reviews say
Which in this case is almost nothing — and that is worth saying
Research note — not a user review
There are no public reviews of Velappity anywhere we could find. We are not going to treat that as a mark against a small, actively maintained product — most software this size has no review footprint, and its blog was updated within weeks of this research. But it does mean every claim above comes from the vendor, and that a trial is doing the work other people's reviews would normally do.

The alternatives
Every price below is the published list price for a single user at the time of writing. Where offline behaviour is undocumented by the vendor, it says so rather than guessing.
The HS Manager / The Inspection Manager
Works offline£25 + VAT/user/mo
£240/yr annually; no seat minimum; 30-day trial, no card
- Best for
- UK warehousing and logistics safety, or a housing association working to HHSRS — the same product sold under two names.
- Offline
- Genuine, and specific about why: “Fully functional offline, essential for cold stores and loading bays. Completed inspections and photo evidence are saved securely to the device.”
- Watch out for
- Data is retained for 60 days. After nineteen years of trading there are no public reviews of either brand, and the names collide badly with the official HSE app.
- Platforms
- iOS · Android · Windows
Property Inspect
Undocumented$49/mo Solo
but "limited inspections" · $97/mo for unlimited
- Best for
- UK lettings, facilities and commercial property management — a standing portfolio with compliance scheduling attached.
- Offline
- The homepage says "online or off". No help-centre documentation supports it in either direction.
- Watch out for
- The iOS app was last updated on 3 January 2025, and the Solo tier's inspection limit is not published as a number.
- Platforms
- iOS · web · Android unconfirmed
GoAudits
Works offline$10/user/mo
billed annually; no free tier, 14-day trial
- Best for
- A multi-site team that wants one audit library, scoring and scheduled reports across several verticals.
- Offline
- Genuine — “Conduct mobile inspections on your preferred device, even offline.”
- Watch out for
- Two dated reviews describe the same template-setup friction. Its iOS app was last updated 9 June 2024 and carries 33 ratings, and the in-app subscription is listed at $299.99/yr against a $10/user/mo website price.
- Platforms
- iOS 15+ · Android · web
Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture)
Works offlineFree for 10 seats
Premium $24/seat/mo billed annually
- Best for
- A safety or facilities team at more than one site that needs forms, actions and assets in one place.
- Offline
- Broad. Inspections, actions, assets and reports all work offline; analytics, the template editor and the public library do not.
- Watch out for
- AI features are now metered per seat, and April 2026 reviewers report changes landing without migration tools.
- Platforms
- iOS · Android · web
ReportWalk
Works offlineFree to start
monthly plans for higher volumes
- Best for
- One person who needs the report finished before they leave the site.
- Offline
- Photos, voice notes and answers are written to the phone first and sync when signal returns. A whole inspection can run in a basement with no bars.
- Watch out for
- iPhone only, and it is deliberately not a business platform — no scheduling, no invoicing, no CRM.
- Platforms
- iPhone · web forms in any browser
Disclosure — this is our site
Where ReportWalk fits
Both products work offline and both are built for someone walking a building. The difference is the output and the price shape.
Ours produces a branded PDF with a shareable link, finished on site, with photographs carrying GPS, time and the weather at that moment and spoken observations turned into written findings.
It is free to start for one person, with no tier ladder to climb before the product is useful.
Where we lose
Velappity has UK regulatory templates — ACOP L8 among them — that we do not yet have. If your work is legionella or CQC-shaped, they have already built what you need and we would be asking you to build it yourself.
The bit that actually stops people
Already built your template in Velappity?
Send it to us and we will rebuild it in ReportWalk by hand — same sections, same wording, usually within two or three working days. It costs nothing, you do not need an account to ask, and it stays private to you.

Questions
Is Velappity free?
Up to two users. Bronze is £15 per user per month billed annually, Silver is £30 and Gold is £50.
Does Velappity work offline?
Yes. The vendor states that lack of signal is not an issue at remote locations and that jobs can be completed offline and synced later.
Are there reviews of Velappity?
We could not find any — nothing on Capterra and nothing elsewhere. The company is small and UK-based, and its own blog is current as of August 2026.

How this page was made
Prices come from vendor pricing pages, offline behaviour from vendor help documentation, and quotes from G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, GetApp and the App Store, each carrying its reviewer, source and date. Where a claim comes from a customer rather than the vendor, the page says so. Where something is undocumented, it says that too. Software pricing changes — check the vendor before you decide, and tell us if you find something here that has gone stale.
