RoomSketcher has one grievance and it comes up again and again: paying for the subscription does not get you the output. Credits still do.

The subscription does not include the work
A January 2026 director in construction puts it plainly: the paid subscription still requires further purchasing of credits to do more projects.
Pro is $144 a year, which reads as inexpensive until you discover that the annual fee buys access rather than output. That is a legitimate pricing model. It is also not what most people think they are buying.
One reviewer puts a number on it
An October 2025 principal describes the credit system as designed to ensure you cannot do more than one project a month.
That is their characterisation rather than a published limit, and we are attributing it as such. But it is the second independent reviewer describing the same mechanism as the obstacle.
Offline is undocumented, and probably not
The messaging is cloud-storage throughout, and the only offline help article we found is about troubleshooting errors rather than working without a connection.
We are not going to state it as a no, because the vendor has not. But if you need to draw on site with no signal, treat this as unresolved.
The free tier is two credits
Which is enough to evaluate whether you like the drawing tools, and not enough to evaluate whether the pricing works for your volume. Those are different questions and only the second one matters after week one.
The other side of it
What it does well
Print-to-scale 2D and 3D floor plans and photoreal renders, from a browser, with no specialist hardware and no LiDAR requirement.
For an agent or an interior designer who needs a presentable plan rather than an appraisal-grade measurement, it is a gentler tool than anything built for surveyors.
AI floor plan conversion was added without an accompanying price rise, which is worth noting on a page about pricing complaints.
