An $845 million acquisition, not yet closed
Procore announced the deal on 30 July 2026 with closing expected later in the year. At the time of writing, the product, the pricing and the roadmap are unchanged.
We are not going to predict what happens after. What we will say is that the honest time to evaluate alternatives is before a transition, while you still have leverage in a renewal conversation — not eighteen months into one.
It is also worth knowing this is the second aerial capture business Procore has taken in: DroneDeploy itself absorbed StructionSite.
$4,188 a year, prepaid, and most tiers are now contact-sales
The published figure is $4,188 annually, paid up front. Above that, pricing moved behind a sales conversation.
For a survey business that is normal. For a contractor who wanted site documentation and got quoted a survey platform, it is usually the moment they realise they are shopping in the wrong category.
Cloud-bound by design
Photogrammetry processing, map generation and reporting all happen on their servers, and no vendor offline documentation exists.
That is inherent rather than a shortcoming — you cannot process a survey-grade orthomosaic on a phone. But it does mean nothing about the workflow happens in a dead zone.
The other side of it
What you cannot replace with a reporting tool
Survey-grade georeferenced maps, volumetrics and 3D models produced from drone flights. That is measurement infrastructure, not documentation.
If you are calculating stockpile volumes or producing measurable orthomosaics for a client, everything below except Pix4D is the wrong category.
Most people arriving on this page from a construction background are actually looking for progress documentation, which is a different and much cheaper problem.

- It is a photo system, not a report writer. The Marketing Suite was unbundled at $79–99/mo on top.

- CoStar acquired it on 28 February 2025 and prices rose that May and June. Tours stop working if you stop paying the hosting fee.
