Procore is the system of record for commercial construction and it is very good at being that. Most people typing this search are not leaving Procore — they are discovering they were never in the market for it.
Why people are looking
Priced on your construction volume, not your seats
There is no per-user price. Procore is sold against annual construction volume, which means a subcontractor and a general contractor with the same headcount pay very different amounts.
Third-party estimates circulate in the fifteen-to-eighty-thousand-a-year range. We are not going to print that as a fact, because every source we checked disagreed with the others and none of them were the vendor. What is verifiable is the model, and the model is the thing that decides whether you are a customer.
The mobile experience, from a 2026 reviewer
An August 2026 product management reviewer at a two-to-five-hundred-person company rates it 3 out of 10 and describes synced drawings that do not stay synced and an app that is painfully slow.
A June 2026 reviewer calls the cost astronomical and the mobile app a battery and storage hog.
Both are people inside companies large enough to be the target customer, which is what makes them worth reading.
Offline is cache-only, in the vendor's own framing
Procore states that you can view items "cached or recently viewed… in online mode", and that offline actions do not push until you reconnect.
So it is closer to a read-mostly cache than an offline mode. For a site office with Wi-Fi that is irrelevant. For a tower core or a basement, it is the constraint.
Acquiring fast, which changes what you are buying into
A new chief executive in November 2025, Datagrid acquired in January 2026, and DroneDeploy announced in July 2026 for $845 million.
None of that is bad news. It does mean the platform you evaluate this quarter is not the platform you will be using in two years, and that is worth pricing into a long commitment.

A true system of record for an entire project: budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, subcontractor management, all in one place with one audit trail.
On a project where a disputed change order is worth six figures, the software cost stops being the interesting number.
