and what the offline cache really holds

Sitemate is a serious product and its Storm release in June 2026 put it on the same axis we build on. The reason to read this page is narrower: the difference between what the marketing says about working offline and what the documentation says the cache actually holds.
Why people are looking
“Completely offline” has three numbers attached to it
The marketing says Dashpivot works when completely offline. The documentation is more specific: the last-accessed team, the latest 300 photos, and the last 30 forms per template.
Those are reasonable engineering limits and the vendor deserves credit for publishing them. The problem is where they are published — away from the claim, in the help centre, rather than beside it.
The sharp edge is the team boundary. Switch teams while you are offline and, by the documentation's own account, photographs are all you can take.
Storm launched in June 2026 and says nothing about offline
Storm is Sitemate's voice-to-form agent: “Voice in, photos in, notes, weather and location in. Completed form out.” It maps what you said and shot to the right fields.
Neither the Storm page nor the launch post mentions offline behaviour, pricing, or whether it is on iOS or Android. We are not going to tell you Storm does not work offline — we do not know that. What we can say accurately is that Sitemate has not documented whether it does.
If you are evaluating Storm against anything, that is the first question to put to them.
No published pricing at all
Per-user, with no seat minimum under ten employees and a ten-seat minimum from ten to ninety-nine. No figures anywhere.
That is a normal enterprise motion and not a criticism in itself. It does mean you cannot compare it to anything on this page without a sales call first.
The other side of it
What Sitemate does better than us, plainly
Storm exists, it shipped, and it does something genuinely close to what we do. Anyone telling you the inspection market has no voice product has not looked; Sitemate is the counter-example and it is in our biggest category.
Sitemate is also built for a scale we are not: registers, sign-offs, and standardised forms across an entire project with many crews. Dashpivot is a project system of record. We are a phone with a document at the end.
If you are running quality and safety paperwork across a whole construction or mining project, that is their job and not ours.

Which in this case is almost nothing — and that is worth saying
Research note — not a user review
We found exactly one critical review of Dashpivot inside our eighteen-month window. One reviewer is not a pattern, and we would rather publish that finding than assemble a complaints section out of a single person's bad week. The material difference on this page is documentary — the published cache limits, and the fact that the Storm launch does not address offline — not reputational.

- Watch out for
- The $32 tier is a single user with ten plans; the next rung up is $107 per user. A civil engineer reports three-minute PDF generation, and AI usage is metered.

- Watch out for
- It is a photo system, not a report writer. The Marketing Suite was unbundled at $79–99/mo on top.

Where ReportWalk fits

Where we lose
Storm is a real product doing something close to ours, from a company with far more construction depth. If you are already inside Dashpivot's forms and registers, Storm is the lower-friction answer and we would be a step sideways.
