Service Fusion vs ServiceTitan

Three competing vendors independently judged this comparison worth writing. Neither of the two companies being compared has responded. Without a keyword tool, three outsiders spending money on a question is about as good a demand signal as exists.

Who wrote this, and what we sell

We make ReportWalk, an inspection app. We do not sell field service management software, and we do not expect readers of this page to become our customers. We wrote it because every existing answer comes from a competitor.

The short answer

Service Fusion

Choose Service Fusion if you are a mid-sized contractor who wants capability without an implementation project. One switcher's framing — that it is 'for the Pros' relative to lighter tools — captures where it sits.

ServiceTitan

Choose ServiceTitan if you are large enough to run an implementation and want the depth that justifies it. Its buyers are typically multi-million-dollar contractors, and that shapes everything about the product.

ServiceTitan is bought by companies running a change programme, not by someone shopping for software this week. If that is not you, the comparison is academic.

Who actually switched, and why

No documented switch between these two products in either direction. All three records above show movement into each from lighter tools, which supports reading this as two rungs of a ladder rather than a head-to-head.

Where they genuinely differ

Size of buyer

ServiceTitan sells to contractors large enough to run an implementation project — typically multi-million-dollar operations with dedicated staff for the rollout.

Service Fusion sits below that: real capability, less ceremony.

Most of the difference in this comparison follows from that, and a smaller contractor evaluating ServiceTitan is usually evaluating the wrong product rather than a worse one.

Pricing

Neither vendor's current pricing was captured from its own page with a date during this research. ServiceTitan in particular is a quoted sale with implementation costs attached, which is part of what distinguishes it.

What each is honestly better at

Service Fusion

Capability without a project. For a contractor who has outgrown light scheduling tools but cannot absorb an enterprise rollout, it occupies a real gap — which is what John M.'s framing above describes from the inside.

ServiceTitan

Depth at scale. Dispatch, reporting and the operational machinery a large contractor needs, with the implementation support to make it land. For the right size of business it is the category standard.

What we could not verify

  • Current pricing for either product.
  • Any migration between these two products.
  • Whether the implementation cost of ServiceTitan is a barrier in practice or simply a different purchasing process.
  • Reddit was unreachable in every research session.

If neither fits — a third shape of tool

If the job report or certificate you hand a customer is the weak part, that is smaller and cheaper to fix than changing business platforms. ReportWalk produces a branded client-ready PDF on site and has no dispatch, scheduling or invoicing at all.
