UpKeep
Choose UpKeep if its asset and parts model matches your operation and you want its reporting depth.
UpKeep has no free tier; Limble's entry terms are worth checking against your seat count. Neither is a credit-card purchase at scale.

Where they genuinely differ
Offline, where UpKeep publishes a hard number
UpKeep documents that its Professional plan caches up to five work orders, two drafts and five task images offline, with Enterprise raising that to between five and one hundred. Whether the cheaper tiers get offline at all is undocumented.
Five work orders is a real ceiling for a plant walk or a rural route, and it is the most concrete fact available on either side of this comparison.
Pricing
UpKeep starts at $24 per user per month with Premium at $55 and no free tier — a seven-day trial only. Professional and Enterprise are quote-only.
Limble's current pricing was not captured from its own page with a date during this research, so we are not quoting a figure.
One hardware requirement
UpKeep's iOS app requires iOS 18 or later, which rules out older handsets still in service on plenty of sites.
What each is honestly better at
Limble
Value and approachability. Its reputation is for being straightforward to adopt, and the one documented switch on this pair moved toward it for exactly that reason.
UpKeep
Reporting and asset structure, which even departing reviewers name positively, and a willingness to publish its own offline limits that most competitors do not match.
