Most pages comparing Jobber were written before 18 March 2026, when it added offline support. If you are reading a comparison that says Jobber does not work without signal, it is out of date — including, until we corrected it, parts of our own site.
Why people are looking
The $29 requires a year paid up front
$29 a month is the annual prepaid rate. Month-to-month is $49. Additional users are $29 each either way.
That is a commitment ladder rather than a price rise, and it is verified — unlike the Jobber price increase that several blogs repeat, which no vendor source confirms. We are not going to repeat it here.
Offline, as of March 2026, is partial
Job forms, visit details, notes and time tracking save locally. Scheduling, invoicing and payments still need a connection.
That is a meaningful improvement and it changes the comparison against Housecall Pro, which still does not support editing offline at all. It is not the same as full offline capture.
Scheduling gaps, from two dated reviewers
A December 2025 administrative assistant reports Jobber allowing double bookings without alerting them. A February 2026 director in facilities services describes the booking function as very limited and the development team as close-minded.
Neither is dramatic. Both are about the part of the product most people bought it for.

Run the money side of a small home-services business: quoting, scheduling, invoicing and card payments in one place, for one to fifteen people.
At $29 a month prepaid it is the cheapest full business platform in this comparison by a distance — less than half Housecall Pro's annual rate.
If cash flow and scheduling are the job, no documentation tool replaces it.

Several blogs say so. We found no vendor confirmation, so we are not repeating it. The commitment ladder — the gap between the prepaid and month-to-month rates — is verified, and is the thing worth understanding.
Jobber or Housecall Pro?
Jobber is cheaper at both billing frequencies and now has partial offline support. Housecall Pro does not support offline editing at all but is stronger on payments and financing. If you work in dead zones, that difference now decides it.
